Cajingo Quidel bio pic

Before he started writing short stories, Cajingo received undergraduate degrees in criminal justice and paralegal and a graduate degree in political science. He has a few political essays and opinion pieces published on various academic websites and in two major newspapers in Mississippi and has had about 10 book reviews published in various journals and for the American Library Association. His academic life led him to a career in probation and parole where he worked with drug addicts and alcoholics all day but never became one himself. Not yet anyway. Now, some important events in his life have put him on a path to writing fiction, non-fiction, and memoir-style stories where he prefers to tell instead of show. He is working as often as he can on a memoir titled, "Losing Mimi: memoir of a son's ramblings."
